I have a few, thought it would be interesting to see what everyone else follows and maybe discover some new loves?

Mine are:

Gunnerkrigg Court - like Sinfest, the progression of the artwork is absolutely beautiful to watch, although the storyline confuses the hell out of me at times.
Oglaf - NSFW but I love it.
SMBC - patchy but fun
2D Goggles (AKA the Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage) - more, please!

and of course, Business Cat (anyone who doesn't like Business Cat is just wrong)

oh, noice! more webcomics to check out

lately, besides sinfest, I'm checkin' out Monsterkind and sometimes beelzebubs?

a lot of the ones I absolutly loved were cut shortly, are on hiatus, or are already over! Like Homestuck (finished), Helvetica (hiatus), Fishbones(hiatus), Hanna Is Not a Boy's Name (interrupted), Monster University (interrupted)... there are just so many...

I also enjoy Cucumber Quest but the updates take so long, and the story is kind of slow, so... I just let it aside... maybe I'll read it again a couple months later or more lol

Yeah, Oglaf is nsfw and full of t&a, but it's pretty much too silly to be offensive, and it's frequently hilarious.

The best webcomic, imo, is Subnormality. It's not a daily panel strip but has progressed to more like bi-yearly graphic short stories. Moving.

Edit: Oh yeah. And it's not a webcomic, but I don't get the paper so I follow Pearls Before Swine online. https://www.gocomics.com/pearlsbeforeswine/2018/07/07

I cannot read Oglaf at work, so usually I forgot to check it.

Other webcomics I read:
Bad Machinery!
Retail, Octopus Pie, The Perry Bible Fellowship, The Oatmeal, xkcd, sometimes also Penny Arcade, Unshelved and Non-Adventures of Wonderella.

Wow, loads to get into here, thank you!

(I can see my summer plans for getting fit, decluttering and deep cleaning the house and doing the garden are going to go straight out the window...)

ErfWorld- man is stuck in a tabletop board game as a summoned tactician, so... low high phantasy? World building and plotting.

Order of the Stick- story of an adventuring party on quests. Lots of 4th wall breaking humer.

Gaia- too complicated to suciantky explain. Goes for fantasy realism.

xkcd- a webcomic about math, romance, science, and language. Very famous, graph jokes with citations.

Wilde Life- Just some guy in some ordinary town with ordinary people with super powers. Slow burnner

Penny Arcade- funny gaming comic. I like the blog posts, too. Learn new words there.

Mare Internum- “-says you’re smart, driven, passionate…” ‘I am!’ “You’re a strong person” ‘So why do you hate me?’ “You S P O I L E R S- -to come to Mars” “A strong person like you, you didn’t have to hurt them.”

Miamaska- girl is lost in world where people from other worlds keep showing up bringing diseases or ideas. All such people hear what people mean when they talk, and are heard that way. VERY dangerous. Played totally straight.

Pictures of you- the best friends you’ll ever forget. Man recalls his glory days.

Sorcery101- completed. Owing his life to a famously dickish vampire, he’s not aging, and his kid’s old enough to notice things, and, shit, the werechild he was babysitting bit one of his students.

Wondermark-very cleaver, very funny. Random people have a dialog most of the time.

The Property of Hate- “What’s this? It’s cute!” ‘Thats a lie’ “Is it dangerous?” ‘It can be’ “its so small...” ‘they grow fast’

WhiteNoise- Supernatural racism and war. Our protagonist is a refugee currently.

TheenD endcomic.com- worth reading just for the outrageous story in the hover text. Accidental human abduction, but humans are already a major force in space. This does not bode well for earthlings.

Devoto:Music in Hell- Completed. Gay, Chatholic space opera. The angels are programs. Great art, and when Pride and Wrath fight with words, it’s shockingly vicious.

The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal- Complete. Road trip, slow burning romance, a little sex in it.

Excercism Academy- Soldier Even’s demon is to old to have fallen for the trap and to strong TO trap. Sexy smart smut, if a little cliche.

Namesake- Alice, Wendy, Jack, Cinderella... the stories are stuck on repeat.

Stand Still Stay Silent- It’s 90 years after a disease that turns those that don’t die into trolls destroys almost all mammal life. An expedition to find books and explore the old world. Beautiful art.

A Tale of Two Rulers- Zelda and Ganondorf have a political marriage to avoid war. Clean, not really a romance. Played pretty straight.

Monster Pulse- ‘ghost’ enters girls heart, and it rips out of her becoming something like an elephant. Yes, hiding this from your parents was smart. There will be no consequences. Where’d that ghost come from?

Manly Guys Doing Manly Things- Comander Badass rebels against the spacefuture marines! By running a temp agency that helps reintegrate Duke Nukum and other movie/video game people back into society. Pretty funny, pokes fun at toxic masculinity.

Last Halloween- it’s the apocolips, and little Mona is having none of it! Horror/comedy. It’s like Daria and 7even has a baby

Sketical- cute BL story about some teens. Strictly pg romantically, some violence of late. Mostly adorable

Autophobia- fear of being alone with your thoughts. Sweet, pg13 romance, is not the focus though.

More webcomics

Think Before You Think -- slice of life story; Brian can read minds, and it is hilarious and heartbreaking.

Tweep -- slice of life story; twentysomethings and modern life, working in a coffee shop and a record store.

Depressioncomix -- comics about mental illness; poignant, heartbreaking, frequently bleak and often perfect.

Evil Plan -- superpowers; Dr.Kinesis is a young supervillain struggling to take over the world.

Blip -- modern supernatural; K is a wonderful enthusiastic young chain-smoker, center of a vast unseen supernatural struggle over her very existence (the angels are the bad guys) [back after a long hiatus]

Ghost Kiss -- superpowers; Mya's curse is that anyone she kisses instantly forgets everything about her. Obviously she becomes a super hero.

Here's a bunch of comics I read, with handy links, ooooh:

Gastrophobia - http://gastrophobia.com/index.php
Currently on hiatus(?), but has a huge backlog of comics about a barbarian single Mom (Phobia) and her smart kid (Gastro) in ancient Greece. Super cute.

Gunnerkrigg - https://www.gunnerkrigg.com/
Like Harry Potter, except not at all, and with a more likable main character. Hehe.

Lackadaisy - http://www.lackadaisycats.com/
The comic with the gangster cats that everyone really loves.

Poppy O'Possum - https://www.poppy-opossum.com
Comic about a possum mom and her adorable kid. Currently more of a novel with illustrations, but most of it is in comics form.

Subnormality - http://www.viruscomix.com/subnormality.html
Comics with a billion words. Really good tbh and has some of my favourite characters in webcomica. Early comics are quite different. Author has also made a web series.

Unsounded - https://unsoundedupdates.tumblr.com/
She's a loud-mouthed girl with a tail. He's an undead zombie whose soul gets drawn into the afterlife every night. Together, they fight a large construct made out of magical silver and the tortured souls of the deceased. Has blood and violence and such, plz exercise caution. Oh, also it gets p funny inbetween.

I am YEARS behind Lackadaisy Cats. Some day I'll get back to it...

Keeping up with Subnormality isn't so hard. It might take twenty minutes, but it's only twice a year or so.

Omg, about lackadaisy: me too! I stopped reading on 2012 because they stopped updating and then I lost interest... I wonder if I'll like it again. What's subnormality about again?

There are recurring characters and story arcs, but there are also unrelated stories. They cover pretty much everything, from slice-of-life to future-sci-fi, but interpersonal relationships and emotional meaning always play a big part.

They're not always explicitly feminist, but most of the characters are female and they're always treated as people. (There may be some funfeminism over the years, I don't remember, but if so it's probably along the lines of "hey hookers are people, too," kinda deal.)

Here's a randomly selected one which doesn't involve a ton of text, a story arc or recurring characters: http://www.viruscomix.com/page444.html

I used to follow a lot more comics, but a lot of them are either on hiatus or I wasn't as interested in the story anymore.

I mainly check in every couple of months.

Weekly/daily I think Wilde Life and Sinfest are the only ones I follow. I love mythological/paranormal stuff, so Wilde Life and comics like that hit all the right spots.
