I have often wondered about this myself. God seems to be the only completely unaccountable (and alternatively benevolent and brutal) dictator who is universally (and sincerely) loved.
And yeah, Lil' E rules. |

would an omnipotent God be able to convince you that you're wrong?

Preventing evil involves preventing any person's free choice. What would be the point of creating billions of people, for whom you have to make every decision?

From people?

Because he would still be immeasurably more powerful and knowing?
compared to bacteria, are people not Gods? can we not create and destroy them? _________________ Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS" |

Since he's omnipotent, he knows what each and every one of us would end up doing before he even bothered to create us. Sounds to me that he's in a similar predicament regardless of freedom of choice. |

Our brains must be entirely deterministic from God's point of view if we are to consider him an omnipotent entity. |

meh. If god is omnipotent and omnipotence is logically impossible that leaves you with two options:
1. God is impossible
2. God doesn't care about logic
Either way there's no point reasoning about it.
Now shut up the lot of you |
