Meh. I was an English major, I had perfect grammar. I even enjoy diagramming sentences. 
But this isn't school or class or anything professional so I rarely bother to double-check myself (other then for typos which I make all the freaking time, believe it or not, I actually catch most of them, I'm just a horrible typist) and sometimes I purposely use archaic or made up words or play around with punctuation and tenses and such. Mostly just because I can.
*shrugs* I purposely mis-spelled the word "their" all through HS. No idea why, I just liked how it looked as thier better.
And yeah, I'm lazy too prolly. ;D
Actually, (and I use the word actually way too much I've begun noticing) I seriously need to find my grammar books because I can't remember the rules for its/it's and thats anymore. Though this isn't as bad as the time I forgot how to spell "why..." during a test. 
Luckily, I know that sooner or later someone will go off on someone else about the whole its/it's thing and remind me.
I really don't understand the whole perfect grammer thing in a casual setting. As long as you can enderstand what the person is trying to say, it is all good.
