Oh god if the devil was so desperate for sinners that he was handing out free weed... man... man... I'd sin in a second.

i identify strongly with both strips - although i like this one's message, about the difficulties of resisting temptation.

poor squiggy - the world is against him.

and dang - now i'm gonna go get an iced coffee thingie...

I think it was just the dividing line between temptation in Squiggs case, he probably was dying for a joint by that time, like a starving man who finally finds a kwiki mart in the middle of the desert next to the devil.

Is it just me or in the strips that the devil appears in, isn't he usually the best drawn character (in terms of shading and such)? Maybe he's Tat's favorite so he spends more time on him :p

Well... who wouldn't love Devil? If I created a character like that I too would fall in love with him. x)

finest ganja weed, isnt that a little redundant?

Could be, depending on if you want to view weed as another word for Marijuana, or weed as in another word for plant.

finest ganja marijuana OR finest ganja plant.

Alternatively, according to the Oxford English Dictionary:

Quote:
Any of various preparations of different parts of the hemp-plant which are smoked, chewed, sniffed or drunk for their intoxicating or hallucinogenic properties and were formerly used medicinally; bhang (marijuana), ganja, and charas (hashish) are different forms of these preparations." It is also notes that "cannabis" was elliptical reference (i.e. slang) for Cannabis sativa

You could take this to mean a type of marijuana, like a type of cake. In which case, ganja weed would also be non-redundant.

I took it as an overemphasis for comic effect, e.g. "super awesome sticky icky ganja herb weed of extremely high highness."

a question that i'm sure has been asked often in the world.

but its one of those things that you don't ask why you do it, you either just do or don't
