Drawing on water
| Quote: | You must be wondering how can that be possible but Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Akishima laboratory in association with Professor Naito of the Osaka University have developed a device which can write or draw on water with the help of waves. It consists of 50 wave making device in the depth of 0.3 meters of water and a cylindrical tank of 1.6 meters in diameter.
The wave making device move up and down in controlled motions with the help of Bessel function to create an alphabet or a picture. The alphabet or the image is displayed for a moment but it is possible to display them again and again in every 3 seconds. Each letter takes up to 15-30 seconds to show up and is able to display simple Chinese characters or even Roman alphabets.
The Lab expects this device to be used in conjunction with sounds and illuminating lights in amusement parks, hotels. |
Pretty damn spiffy, if you ask me.

That's like three euros, or a hundred bucks American!
But if you give them a Masonic handshake it's free. |

Not Quite:
20,000,000.00 JPY = 135,686.30 EUR
20,000,000.00 JPY = 170,524.13 USD

Hmmm, I'd better brush up on my Masonic handshakes.
Or start looking more conspiratorially Jewish. |

How very generous of... oh, great, pesos. All these zeros are meaningless. |
