Interesting to note how:
- the artist says "look", since his work revolves around visual art;
- Squigley says "what", which emphasizes his materialism and emphasis on things;
- the Devil boldly states "I", in his powerful assertion of self-centered...ness;
- God says "made", since he is the Creator.

It's this kind of things that makes Sinfest a valuable strip on so many levels. Thumbs up for another great strip!

I rather like this analysis even if it wasn't intentional on the artist's part. It could have been but it works quite well even if it wasn't.

I want to paint this one...

I'm of the belief that there aren't too many coincidences in sinfest, it's just part of teh awesome subtlety that makes Tat great.

I hate over-analysis too. But almost every second strip brings a metaphor that underlies the mere art or punchline, and that enriches the experience of the comic.

The Sunday Playlists of doom rarely come to any sort of blows. Word Association and his bastard children. The Postwhoring thread was drama free for the better part of a year.

1% yet?

Actually, it's probably more then 1%. I think the comic-forum and casual chat are the ones that involve the most bickering.

While they should more debates rather then bickering. It always comes to childish blows and name calling. Lots of assuming leads to lots of shattered egos in those threads.

Well, but not generally in the first 2 pages. It takes more time to resort to name calling!

So what, would you rather have everybody get along and agree on everything? Boring.
