Anyone noticed the guy with the dog (very Pooch-like) in the first panel? The one with the sign "TWIT" pointing right at him?

Also, the forums are getting silent... where is everybody?

EDIT: in the other thread on this comic, it seems Embarassed

doubledoubletoil&..

darn, wiki's def of 'twit' just doesn't seem as kinder and gentler as I'd imagined the term to mean Sad at least he's heading towards also, isn't it a verb as well as a noun?

(just to answer your question) - yes, twit can also be a verb:
twit1
–verb (used with object)
1. to taunt, tease, ridicule, etc., with reference to anything embarrassing; gibe at.
2. to reproach or upbraid.
–noun
3. an act of twitting.
4. a derisive reproach; taunt; gibe.

whichsaid noun not to be confused with:
twit3 /twɪt/
–noun Informal.
an insignificant or bothersome person.

or even the second definition, which is a new one on me:
twit2
–noun
a weak or thin place in yarn caused by uneven spinning.

(and "silly, annoying, ineffectual" doesn't seem all _that_ bad).
