I thought about putting this in the Link Dump, but it's just too interesting and deserves a thread of its own, I think.

Interesting. Have you read the one about Tiananmen Square? Don't really know what to think about that one. _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |

it certainly offers an unusual perspective, and one that I don't really have a problem with. a sense of duty born of the love of one's country is age old and honorable. what was most interesting, I thought, was the emotional strain and sometimes conflicting instincts the soldier had to deal with. even though his concern for fellow human beings was fleeting and eventually overwhelmed by his duty and sense of pride, it was there none-the-less. perhaps for most us it is a difficult pair of shoes to put ourselves in, but that's why it is valuable. |

Whoa.
This might be one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I was just thinking the other day about how great something like this could be.
Thanks for the link MsFris _________________ TORTOISE RUGBY. |
