I'm sure there's another topic. Anyway.
Can anyone recommend video editing software please? Free if possible. |

free stuff:
Windows Movie Maker in XP
iMovie under OSX
although, both of those are pretty basic, being limited to mostly basic scene transitions and soundtrack options and timeline tools. iMovie is definitely more feature-rich, especially in conjunction with GarageBand(which can be used to score a soundtrack with software instruments and such as well as better sound mixing of other audio tracks).
beyond that, the cost goes up pretty sharply.
Adobe Premiere
Apple's Final Cut (available for Windows in a super-high-end version and also an Express version with leas movie studio heavy features) _________________ On Twitter

| I use Avid for all my movie-making. But I don't know if the free version is as easy or good as the one we have at school. |

I use Sony Media Vegas
I find it easy to use and very powerful.
If you don't need more than 3 video tracks you can get the Vegas Studio, whichis consumer level rather than professional. |

I've used Windows Movie Maker a couple of times. It's good for the basic stuff and it's easy as pie. Just don't expect to create proffesional films with it. _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |
