"fox news" ahahahahaahwtuo4tqtob3
not joking, this is 100% a legit screenshot.
Combining this with the screenshots Kara found, yes, Fox news does this constantly, but only with republicans who are caught in dirty shit. |

well, clearly if they do nasty stuff like this, they can't be _real_ republicans.
.....or at least that's what fox desperately hopes we will believe. _________________ aka: neverscared!

Clearly it's a typo. Fox is being pretty harsh with Sanford. Neil Cavuto was interviewing someone who was attempting to rationalize it with a 'the human sex drive is so powerful!' argument. Bah. Other than that one guest, people are highly critical of him. |

What's funny is that after Spitzer and Edwards both got caught in their own affairs, Ensign and Sanford must have been all "Bahaha!! Losers. No way that'll ever happen to me! Come on baby, I want to put my Commander in Chief into your Oval Office unf unf unf!" |

Yes, it is the typo they frequently make at Fox. To put a (D) in front of republicans who have just gotten caught in embarrassing terrible scandals.

balk from Awl.
Quote: | Okay, so, the live press conference is over. We'll swap in video once they get it up, but basically Sanford came out, apologized to every person he's ever met, living or dead, admitted that the Appalachian Trail "ain't where I went," apologized some more, mumbled on about God's law for a while, copped to having an affair with a "dear, dear friend from Argentina," apologized again, answered a couple of questions, but refused to say whether he'd resign as governor. This was one of the weirdest press conferences I've ever seen, including Budd Dwyer's. If you missed it, you'll want to watch the video when it's available… it is astounding. Also, if you had any doubt that God loves Barack Obama, you can set it aside, because he SO CLEARLY DOES. |

Actually if he's going to make a go at president he may well be doing the smart thing, rendering this scandal "old news" by the time he makes a run for higher office. _________________

But that would be at the cost of revealing these problems, like, say, the possibility that he might go running off to another country for some poon and not let anyone know where he's going.
Cheating on your wife can be forgiven in government, apparently, but going incommunicado while jetting off to get jiggy wif' it is not quite the same. |

I totally missed their sinister attempt to mislead the hearing impaired people who watch FOX news with the closed captioning off. The blackguards! |

All together class, what does FUD stand for?
"Fox Undercutting Democrats"?
Nooooo, but close. Anyone?
"Fucked Up Deucy"?
Good answer, but no, also, 2 weeks detention for swearing in class. Come on, it's doubtful that no one here knows this.
"Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt"?
Good job Billy! In this case, Fox is trying to create uncertainty about the political party that the Governor belongs to. Not too much, but just enough for the cognitive dissonance in their core audience to take over. |

Right, so those herring impaired people who eschew closed captioning, cannot read the lips of the commentators, don't access any other source of news, and have nobody to correct them, ever, will be totally fooled! And any of them who do manage to figure out what's going on get thrown down a mineshaft, muahaha!
(Oops, I said 'herring impaired' this time, so clearly there's some doubt as to whether I mean people with hearing problems or those who don't eat much fish. Which is it? DUN DUN DUUUUN!) |
