Maybe this whole toyota recall thing is just a conspiracy lead by the oil industry to kill the hybrid car. Toyota is the leading producer of hybrid cars, and now the american customers will not buy toyota cars for years.
Maybe they just bribed some people responsible for quality checking.

| no wait they bribed toyota's management with such an enormous sum that the management even makes a profit when you abstract the law suit costs, the recall costs and the loss in sales in the next years. |
