This.

Quote:
Polish President Lech Kaczynski and scores of others have been killed in a plane crash in Russia.

Polish and Russian officials said no-one had survived after the plane apparently hit trees as it approached Smolensk's airport in thick fog.

Poland's army chief, central bank governor, MPs and leading historians were among more than 80 passengers.

It's a tragedy that greatly moved all Poles, not only supporters of the president.

Please guys, don't make this another conspiracy theory thread that have popped up arround the Internet in the last few hours. There was an accident and more details will come up as the investigation proceeds. For now, for the sake of honouring those who have died, please refrain from trollery.

And Willem, cloud you please change the topics title? The word "coup" seems inappropriate.

That's basically a giant chunk of the political elite in Poland, no? And their entire army staff. That's pretty fucking insane.

Thank you Willem.

Yes, there were definitely too many high-rank officials on that plane. It's a real shock, especially after this accident 2 years ago, when many important air force officers died, there was much talk about not letting such a situation happen again.

Read about the dead president. Really crazy guy, but that's irrelevant. This is a massive tragedy and a huge power vacuum.

It should also be noted that most of the dead MP's are from the main opposition party, as well as their presidential candidate.
