Maybe it was french. |
His avatar and the fact he puts on a dress everytime he goes out to drink made me believe he was a girl... _________________

British beer is decent and much much better than American beer...but it doesn't even compare to German Bier. _________________ Morality: That instinctive sense of right and wrong that tells some people how everyone else should live their lives. |

When you say British beer are you talking about bitter, pale ale, brown ale, or porter? By German beer do you mean pils, bock, dunkle, or weisen? By American beer I presume you're referring to macro lagers, and not any of the thousands of great micros that are brewed all across this country. _________________ "Whatever afflicts thee, their asses I shall kick"

I think he means that he will have a tolerance to British beer so that he's not a lightweight over there (ie he'll be practicing). I could be wrong tho. _________________ I'm doing the twitter thing; you should stalk/follow me: http://twitter.com/sillygurlroo |

I am talking in general terms here. If you pick a random pub/bar/restaurant and have to choose from their list of beers, the beer rating for the country you are in will go like this:
US < UK< Germany
I have had some very good beer in the states but they have been the exception. I personally like wheat beers and the New Belgium Brewing Company of Ft. Collins, CO brews an outstanding Sunshine Wheat beer. In the UK I drink mainly Ales since that's what I've found through trial and error to like the best. When I've been to Germany I've tried many biers in restaurants and normally end up with the weis biers but have found that in most categories (even the ones that are not my favorite) they are suprerior. Most of the beer in the US is a challenge for me to drink the first few until I get to the point where it doesn't matter what I drink because my brain doesn't care anymore. I can normally find something in the UK that I enjoy drinking but only in Germany do I consistantly have an outstanding beer every time I have a drink. _________________ Morality: That instinctive sense of right and wrong that tells some people how everyone else should live their lives.
