Yeah, I'm sure global warming is very high on the list of truths these morons subscribe to, along with evolution and the merits of a socialized healthcare system.

It's OK, holy books are generally made of recycled paper. Don't feel guilty. Smile

And is there a better way to give an homage to the 9/11 New York firemen besides a fire ? Idea

on the other hand...

Quote:
A planned Quran burning Saturday in Amarillo was thwarted by a 23-year-old carrying a skateboard and wearing a T-shirt with "I'm in Repent Amarillo No Joke" scrawled by hand on the back.

Jacob Isom, 23, grabbed David Grisham's Quran when he became distracted while arguing with several residents at Sam Houston Park about the merits of burning the Islamic holy book.

"You're just trying to start Holy Wars," Isom said of Grisham after he gave the book to a religious leader from the Islamic Center of Amarillo.

That's awesome.

Not awesome. Koran desecration acting as yet another match to the tenderbox of Kashmir.

Well yes. The New Testament isn't particularly tolerant or peaceful either, but a little more than the OT.

Peaceful and tolerant doesn't apply to any of the Abrahamic religions' books.

On Sept. 17, 2001, George W. Bush wrote:
These acts of violence against innocents violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith. And it's important for my fellow Americans to understand that.

The English translation is not as eloquent as the original Arabic, but let me quote from the Koran, itself: In the long run, evil in the extreme will be the end of those who do evil. For that they rejected the signs of Allah and held them up to ridicule.

The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That's not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace.

As a bad Republican, but better than BHO. They kind of vacillate between defending him from liberals and claiming he was an over-spender who should have bombed Afghanistan into glass and then come back home. Those are the rational ones.
