No, summary, people inclined to be partisan actually subconciously TURN UP the hostility toward the opposing point of view so as not to have their mind changed. Being hard headed and stubborn isnt so much an adherance to the point of view you have, as a subconcious increase in bloodflow to the parts of your brain that regulate dislike when confronted with other points of view. |
