It could be because Bush is like a small child playing with very big guns. And that's pretty damn scary. |
It is. Personally though what scares me more is that I think the man would truly set himself up as dictator for life if he could. Well, not just that he would but that he wants it.
I'm more afraid of my government right now then I've ever been of terrorists. _________________ "Her kisses left something to be desired -- the rest of her. " |

join the club.
and apparently, no sooner had the compromise been announced than the white house started trying to undermine it - they are now saying duncan hunter still feels that defendents shouldn't be allowed to see classified docs, and as chair of the house armed services committee, his opinon should be taken into account (never mind that there are already methods in place to present the defendent with digests of such material, so they can't see actual classified stuff). and it seems bush still gets to reinterpret the geneva convention any way he wants. _________________ aka: neverscared! |

Then, uhm, what's the point of having the conventions in the first place, if there's no consequences to breaking them? [/obvious question] _________________ bi-chromaticism is the extraordinary belief that there exists only two options
