So little question that the Senate passed a resolution to the effect... still no word on when Obama's resolution will be taken up. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. Yeah, always wondered about that. Especially during the election and McCain himself was up his own arse in birther assertions for Obama's claim to presidency.

Hehe, that's hilarious. And how convenient, just in time for the election. _________________ "Apparently so. But suppose you throw a coin enough times, suppose one day. . . it lands on its edge."

He's a white dude, looks American. We only demand papers from darker-skinned people (see: Arizona). _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. There actually was a quite a bit out there about it if you follow political web sites.
Edit: But only sadists like me enjoy reading sites like those. _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

Right, wonks talked about it (which is how I know about it - I don't read opencongress.org for fun). For MSM it was barely a blip on the radar, and certainly never became part of the election discussion. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. It's pretty crazy, but one of the local Dems is vouching that it's authentic. It highlights the need for a new way of voting, though. Can the US Government seriously not come up with an electronic system of voting that provides a paper receipt as a back up?

The funny thing is, the Democratic candidate should not have been even remotely close in this election. It's only because everyone is so pissed off at Walker that it was even close. _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

The inability of the Government to answer simple questions such as yours are the staples of conspiracy theorists. _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

Because it didn't need to be. The only reason Obama birth cert is in the media for questioning is because of a vocal group.
A vocal group that is full of sore losers. |

Based on a Yale and George Mason University poll to gauge American opinions on climate change across party lines, those who identify as Tea Partiers (whether they're affiliated with any party) on the main:
1) Think they know all they need to know about climate change
2) Don't trust anybody sources of information on climate change as much as any other party (scientists, politicians, or news coverage)
3) Are wrong about it more than any other party
4) Are wrong about climate scientists more than any other party
So you have a worrying combination of being totally wrong and being so sure in that wrongness that you don't trust anybody telling you otherwise. |
