StumbleUpon allows you to select a user's profile and click through, or "stumble" their added links, by simply tapping your stumble button on your browser.
You may also SEND a stumbleupon user any url you find that you think they might like.
Creating a stumbleupon profile for the Sinfest forums would enable stumble users to browse websites idly that other festers have recommended. They may thus be more likely to seek out the thread containing these URLs and post their thoughts.
Festers using Stumbleupon could add the Sinfest page to their friends, thus creating a network of stumbling festers. Any "liked" stumble would be made more accessible to the community.
But would anyone use it? |

| Never heard of you, thanks for coming. I think what the forum definitely needs is hundreds of stumblers visiting for 3 minutes, spamming tons of shit, and then fucking off again. |

given the length of the DRINKING NOW! thread, i figured 'festers were doing more than enough stumbling already. _________________ aka: neverscared! |

So I would basically be wasting twice the amount of time on stumbleupon?
Good idea. _________________

maybe we should make a profile, but have it link to the page that explains how much we all digg our stumbleupon profile
I think stumbleupon is too hip for this community anyway. What whit our olde school class and whatnot. We even have an abandoned ghost town forum complete with lonesome cowboy. I say we ditch stumbleupon and build ourselves a good ol' BBS system.
And make the site accessible through gopher. That'll get the hits up |
