Those are some nice lines you drew there.
I have seen some lines in my time and yours are better than the ones I see at the DMV.
You have potential. Keep it up. I believe in you. |

| Has someone told Kry about this thread? I feel it's important he's kept informed. |

haha, at least it's better than those people who haven't figured out that things look nicer if you use lines of varying width.
The comic itself is like the comical webcomickery dragonball of the sea. Take that to mean whatever you want to take it to mean.
Also, if you want to get good at drawing your characters, study anatomy as related to drawing a bit more. It really does help, even for characters that are highly abstracted. Maybe study some cartoon anatomy, too. I actually have more trouble drawing those bloody 3-fingered hands than I do with actual hands.
The image you started this thread with is nowhere near as good as this one: http://cecebythesea.comxa.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Untitled-3-628x1024.jpg
What's up with that? Why would you give us a second-rate piece of your work to chew on as our first impression of it? Yeesh.
The main difference is that bendy arms really should only bend in certain ways, I think.
I don't care that your characters don't have elbows, but they will look a lot nicer if the arms are at least bent in ways that put them into somewhat realistic positions.
You could produce something of quality here. You just have to keep at it. |
