And here I thought making fun of emo was even more played out than actually being emo.

I've got to wonder at the conversation, or brainwave that resulted in the concept of 'emonati'.
Really.

I was on a paranormal page and they were talking about a machine that ran from souls. It had no need for oil. Something was muttered about "Tulpa, Servitor, Egregore" . I have no idea what those are.

Then they shrugged it all off as a joke. This link is dead. Don't bother clicking on it.

Tulpa = I call you into being through my sheer willpower which is awesome. I once went a whole day without eating a M&M and the bowl was sitting right there in front of me the whole time! I can, in fact, eat only one Lay's potato chip.

Servitor - That which is there to serve me and me alone and to fulfill my desires. Like my mother or that imaginary boyfriend/girlfriend I've been dreaming of since I was twelve.

Egregore - The collective groupmind. There are others out there like me. We have the same longings, the same desires, the same fears. We are one. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Come forth, my creation, and serve me loyally as your new master!

Plus it's cute to watch Li'l E be so affectionate toward something besides D-man.

Wait, I mean fun. Fun to watch. Not cute. Li'l E is not cute. He's adorabloodthirsty.

That makes sense. So it's limited to the reality zone.

This explains why I can't successfully spell or summon Cthuhulu even if my death depended on it. This also explains the Japanese Jellyfish disaster as they rose out of the sea and ate people's sanity.

If you're only offering your own death, of course, Cthulhu isn't going to respond.

That's like asking him to turn off his show, get up off the couch and come to the kitchen for one M&M. There's got to be at least a whole plate of M&M cookies in it for him. And a beer.
