Maybe as a way of showing how loosely Israel handles freedom of speech and such, but yeah. I think the US has a law preventing companies from boycotting Israel as well.

After a little searching I found this and this, though the wikipedia page is fairly dodgy.

Well they tried to outlaw the arab parties in Israel a while back too. Luckily that law, while passed by parliament, was overturned by the high court.

Was it this?

I also found some rumblings about the Israeli navy harassing a CPS Gaza monitoring boat and attacking some fishing boats, but I guess that's nothing too shocking.
