Fuchsia's thoughts aren't about who she belongs to but rather who she belongs with. Big difference. _________________ AstroCitizen -- soon to become "My Sacred Identity"

This will probably skew things a bit more in Crim's favor.
I'm really starting to warm up to this arc =P |

Flossie may be wrong though.
We don't know how Fusch came to be a devil girl.
Fusch might not be her own person.

| At last, a criticism of Fuschia's weak-spined, depressing, unimaginative, 1950s housewife inefficacy. The tricyling feminist goes up in my esteem. |

I suddenly came up with a rather crude nickname for our three-wheeled hellion, but am pretty sure saying it aloud (er, typing it....in print) would damn me eternally. Best to play it safe and instead ask: HOW could she have known what Fyoosh was thinking?? _________________

It's a comic? _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. I’ll do anything to protect them from hurt, the human race is what I serve." - Baba Brinkman |

Remember the whole... green... matrix... word things that Nique sees? I would assume that Glossy is capable of seeing it too since she's the reason Nique can even see it in the first place. Perhaps Fyoosh's thoughts ... made a few of those little words show up similar to the way Nique has and ended up seeing them. Therefore she felt the need to reassure Fyoosh with the fact that she is her own person rather than a possession. _________________

Unless you consider that The Devil being their pimp, not their employer.

I wouldn't say that she literally knew Fuchsia's thoughts but that she made an educated guess based on her observations on what's going on with all the characters and her knowledge of the way society works (and what she read on Wickedpedia). |

I love the discussion of the character's roles we've been seeing throughout the last few weeks... But frankly, I think it's always been therel; it just wasn't as obvious. While there wasn't someone in the actual strips pointing out how restricted the characters are, their roles were still ridiculed.
Also, Fuchsia is sooooooooo cute. |

Seems like kind of a low-set window. Is Fuchsia on her knees? Was she *gasp* praying? Probably not, probably the room's floor is just a little lower than the ground outside.
Mildly odd that the one time Fuchsia is not only off-work but also arguably has an important reason to run to Crim ("They know!"), she doesn't. Hm.

A better question might be how did Glossie get onto the grounds of Stately Devil Manor?

this entire thread is unfunny. its polemic and tricycle-girl comes off as a mouthpiece through which the author can preach.
I've been reading this comic daily for more than a year now and love it and always get a good laugh... Until this whole patriarchy thread started.
and the first person who says" the topic is important" just proves my point that it isnt funny. |
