"BOK!"
The sound made by newly sprouting stripper poles.

I'd think that voluntary stripping qualifies as, at worst, a morally neutral concept. |

Please, everyone knows that we get our own children out of trees in Asia.
All we have to do is jazz it up with a little chi and pop! Children everywhere of every singular skin color and height you could ever imagine. _________________ Hey there pretty little lady,

Trees? Pfft, you're so old-fashioned. Mailboxes are the new thing now. Sprinkle a dash of vinegar and sugar on it and bam. Instant little monste- I mean children. |

The real question is: how voluntary is it? And that is much more complicated. |

What kind of scarecrow would be used to keep dancers away from the poles before they're harvested? |

My grandpa would often reminisce about his time on the stripper-pole farm. Acres and acres of brass, gleaming in the sun like a policeman's buttons. They'd have to be polished at least once every other day, elsewise the patina would ruin 'em. Come harvesting time, every farmhand was given a pair of velvet gloves and twenty yards of linen for wrapping, and told to "work the poles" gently; don't want any scratches! Then every pole - once upturned & wrapped - was piled into a spare horse-trailer & driven to the big city for market.
"Those were the days, MerchManDan," Grandpa would say, "those were the days." _________________
