I think it's important to remember that neither Sam nor Liberty are intended to be flawless characters. Tat doesn't expect anyone to "agree" with either of them 100%.

Insightful.
And yet, many seem to believe we are expected to agree 100% with certain other characters' actions, to the point of getting mad about it.
