I don't think he's going to remember who he is FULLY, and if he were to I don't think he's going to go back to the jerk he used to be. Even if he regains his memories completely, he'd still have the memories of feeling terrible for BEING terrible. When you realize some part of you is terrible in ways that makes you feel bad - you generally do not go back to behaving the way you used to. All that happened is that the cake triggered him remembering - as far as we know - only the birthday incident. He only remembers the party he wanted and never got, and remembers the pain he felt. There is no implication that he's remembering the whole story of his life. Maybe he already knows from reading a journal or something and we just don't know it. Literally all that we're seeing is WOW HE GOT TRIGGERED BY CAKE. HE'S CRYING. HE'S CRYING BECAUSE OF CAKE.
And when DarkMyste said "here comes the Li'l E that everyone hates," I think that he means that he too believes Li'l E will revert to his jerkish ways - and will go back to being that one jerk no one in canon happened to really like that much. I don't think anyone actually hated Li'l E, though... except maybe Seymour... but even then, Seymour had enough positive feelings for him to be confused as to what their relationship was... _________________ Character Chart | Terminology Dictionary | Flashback Strips |

Wow. Apparently, absolutely anything can now be a Sisterhood reference. This observation brought to you by Pugilists Opposed to Deceased Equines. _________________ I am only a somewhat arbitrary sequence of raised and lowered voltages to which your mind insists upon assigning meaning |

Maybe this is a reference to the fact that he invited everyone to his birthday party and no one came. If you are giggling at that other sentence, you are nasty and need a cold shower. |

No Lily won't revert He and Pebbles are friends now and that will make the difference.
Then they will go on a quest to rescue Lily's mom because she was taken away and Lily's memory was wiped to make him forget. now he remembers it all!!!
God, that would be so cool _________________ Awesome Happens |

Yes yes yes.
Then crush the sisterhood with an Iron Fist and go back to a real job. Like being a father, D, ya big douche. |

> implying that the exploration of what happened to "Lilith" and why Lil E was raised without knowing his mother or father isn't integral to the Sisterhood storyline
> implying any attempt to continue the Sisterhood storyline without exploring the Devil's motives for his own misogyny isn't anything but beating a dead horse
Enough guessing about why the Devil loves strip clubs. We need to know why and how he thinks this will make society better / help others avoid the mistakes he made with "Lilith. We could even find out little miss Trike Girl's own motives for her actions (beyond mere disagreement; the origin of her personal struggle, if you will).
In some ways, Tat is venturing into not abiding by the "Show, Don't Tell" rule. It is pointless for him to spend several comics a week telling us that feminism is good and stereotypes/pornography/sexualization/patriarchy/gender inequality are bad. Because we've all at least been exposed to that message at some point in our lives. Even if some choir members enjoy being preached to, it is still a pointless exercise. You know what feminism is, I know what feminism is, and everybody else knows what feminism is. This isn't 1834.
Exploring feminist themes through a storyline is a different beast entirely. You have to SHOW, not merely tell. Show us why the Devil thinks the way he does. Show us his past. Show the profound effects his previous decisions had on his family. Show the effects his current decisions has on society (a bunch of devil strippers walking around remains an exploitation of the female form, not Tat making some compelling point). Show us the Sisterhood being productive (the logging was a good start, but it should end there). Show us some sort of reaction by the Devil against the Sisterhood.
Have a storyline with themes. Don't expect a series of themes to be an acceptable substitute for a story. _________________ "Cada uno es como Dios le hizo, y aśn peor muchas veces."

Have you actually FOLLOWED the feminism discussions Hydra?
Because if you have like...at all it should be apparent to you that not everybody knows what feminism is. |

besides which, he's the Devil, he's probably the only character whose evil you don't have to justify with Freudian excuses and philosophical veneers and shit |

He`ll get his memory back eventually. And I bet his memory cure is something thats lying in his backpack just waiting to be accidentally triggered. The eeeeeeeeeeeeeeyes! Puppydog eyes have never had so much power. Wonder who would win in a face-off. Blue's danger-glare of doom or Lil'E's puppydog eyes of gloom. I suppose depends on the target. Big D would probably not think much of the new Lil'E (if he ever did think much of the old one) and so he would be immune to such tactics. Then again he'd probably be immune to Blue's glares too (not that she'd ever dare turn them on the boss). Hm I had a point somewhere, but I seem to have lost it. Oh well... |

I thought it was obvious for ages...The devil likes chaos and hates do-gooders. He enjoys controlling others. He's oblivious to the point Jesus and Buddah were having fun playing after losing a race, while he was brooding up in his mansion after winning. He's comical about his hatred, but it doesn't change the fact that it's true. _________________

A man doesn't go from being a family man to a sociopath without something happening in between the two.
He thinks what he is doing is justified. He thinks God is wrong and he is right.
