Pebbles, I would be delighted to assist you in destroying that cake. Just leave it to me *hefting a dessert spork menacingly* Twisted Evil

Now, how hard would it have been to do Panel 3 so that she was saying {character name} "SMASH cake!" ala "Hulk SMASH stupid robot!" ? It's like Tat himself doesn't know whether or not her name is Pebbles or anything else. Well, c'est la vie.

Well, honestly, I don't think I've brought the topic up in months. Still, since you brought it up:

Wink

We only know for sure that one current Devil Girl, Pebbles herself, is a "corrupted" mortal (and she didn't even start talking until Seymour, of all people, pseudo-baptized her, so it seems unlikely that she's typical).*

There have only been two confirmed Androids of the Devil sightings (and none at all within the past few years), and neither of them had horns or tails.

One strip identified a passel of Not-Devil Girls as muses, but that could've just been sort of a "these girls will play any role you want them to play" deal.

Blue supposedly has/had a bevy of loving nymphs, but they were never seen on-panel and, again, that could just be a role-assignment thing.

Several more women accompanied The Devil from time to time, but none were ever identified as anything but, well, women. For all we know, they came from an escort service.

Within the past few years, though, it's been Devil Girls all the way.

===

And that's how things stood as of over a year ago (didn't need to look any of it up or anything, I just remember all of it; it's not as if I exert myself by writing voluminous dissertations on the Sisterhood or anything of the sort), and nothing's changed in the interim except that we've seen more and more Devil Girls AND Devil Guys, none of whom are known to be "corrupted" mortals.

The very fact that there are both Devil Girls and Devil Guys sort of implies that there are inevitably bound to be a few Devil Kids around somewhere, off-panel. What with all the, you know, "sin" and all.

The Devil People -- Devil Families -- who don't work directly for The Devil have to live somewhere. (That's one reason the Devil Girl whose return I'd most like to see is "Mint," since she's not known to work for The Devil or even for the Devil Club and could thus be sort of a ronin Devil Girl).

At least one strip has made it clear that Devil People are common enough to be subject to discrimination.

Put it all together and it seems all but inevitable that there's an entire Devil Neighborhood somewhere in Sinfest City. That's why I was disappointed that Blue's search for Fuchsia didn't take her to any Devil areas other than the Devil Club. Oh well, so it goes. It's not as if there's any point in me griping about how much the strip's direction isn't meeting with my approval. Wink

*Blue's depiction as having gone to school with The Devil and Jesus is not necessarily in continuity and IMHO doesn't make a bit of sense anyway, but that's just me.

I agree, the cake must be annihilated.

I volunteer for the job.
