I honestly don't think too many people care. Plus the match clashes with the conclusion of the heptathalon featuring Princess Of Hearts & Tabloid Heroine, Our Brave Jess, People's Champion. _________________

While everyone else in this Brazil - Honduras match is playing football, Neymar is going for the gold in diving.
Still ridiculously fun to watch him play. _________________ Scire aliquid laus est, pudor est non discere velle

This time delay sometimes pisses me off. Of course I am actually recording and watching things even later but still!

A few years ago I watched Galen Rupp run a 10k at a big track meet down in Eugene. It was pretty cool to watch him win the first American medal in the 10k since 1964. _________________ "Whatever afflicts thee, their asses I shall kick"

Also, a fellow from Afghanistan won a bronze medal in taekwondo, which strikes me as pretty great. _________________ "Whatever afflicts thee, their asses I shall kick"

Didn't see much of the closing ceremony but what I did see, or hear to be more accurate, was good. Only caught the first hour, mind. But still, Ray Davies!! Did we find room for Jarvis Cocker? He was apparently part of the organising committee.
Anyway, the entire event has been a pleasure from beginning to end. I've heard no negativeopinions around the bar, and there's nowt more sullen and negative than a British drunk. (Belgian Biebers notwithstanding).
For over two weeks I wore a Union Jack wristband. And I write 'Northerner' as my nationality on my census form.
And now football ... kinda like going for McDonald's after eating healthy salads for two weeks. _________________
