Rule 1 of Sci-Fi Channel: Never watch a season finale until you know there will be a next season, 'cause that fucker will be a cliffhanger.

It is still quite amazing. I watched everything _except_ the finale so I can pretend that more exists.

Because I'm so shockingly "with it," I've just discovered the BBC show, Spaced.

It's not amazing, but it's entertaining. That's not an insult.

I am certain, due to my knowledge of things and stuff, that the last episode of True Blood makes it the most ridiculous show in the existence of man.

It is just flat out being as crazy as it can be and god do I love it. I want to make babies with this show. It's seriously actively trying to be hella stupid.

Next season Wesley Snipes turns up, because that is just as sensible as anything else that could happen.

Turned it on, saw a woman writhing and moaning in pleasure. Turns out she was giving birth to a little of children.

I never knew childbirth was so pleasing. I guess when you are a fairy, werewolf, demon, vampire anything is possible.

I loved the line where she's walking across Merlotte's, glowing between her legs like she got vagazzled with a ground-effects package and says, "My light broke."

Yeah, I think we have a new champion. I just finished watching the series premiere of Last Resort and it was possibly the most absurd single episode of television I've ever seen. The episode hints at some kind of shadow government conspiracy intent on bombing Pakistan while blaming the crew of a rogue nuclear sub (so... the most insane elements of Prison Break and 24 combined).

After the sub is ordered to bomb Pakistan the following occurs:

The Captain refuses, and contacts command asking for further confirmation
The Captain is relieved of command, with the XO instructed to execute the same orders.
The XO refuses, and contact is lost.
Immediately after this a couple of SEALs (who were picked up by the sub in the first few minutes of the episode) appear, brandishing guns, demanding to see the orders and to know why the Captain/XO isn't carrying them out.
The crew detect a missile launched from a US battleship is 10 seconds away from hitting the sub. They survive, a little banged up, and emerge in view of an island in the south pacific(?).

None of this is actually the craziest part.

Pakistan gets nuked. Twice. The US launches another nuke directed at the island. The Captain, who we've learned throughout the episode is a patriot and career Navy man who has dedicated his adult life to serving his country, responds by launching a nuke of his own at Washington DC in a game of nuclear chicken.

The episode ends with a far less amusing version of this scene

I'm trying to think of a way the episode could have been more preposterous but.. I really don't it's possible.

James Cameron doesn't do what James Cameron does for James Cameron. James Cameron does what James Cameron does because James Cameron is James Cameron!

Walking Dead is back on. Just watched the first Walking Dead of the season. So far, less female fuckery! Only the first episode though.

I really need to buy the comics. I heard that it is significantly better as far as the treatment of women (the show makes women look stupid and is distracting as hell).

I'm a fan of the Walking Dead and happy it's back.

But I still miss Dale.
