If he is like this after five minutes it is indeed a grave addiction.

It is not because it is about porn (it could be related to fun videos about cats), it is because an addiction turns something that you enjoy into a thing that can be dangerous to you.

An extreme case is the one Holocauxt postes, even if in that case maybe it was coupled with a mental condition.

Anyway, I hope he manages to last the two hours he set up for himself. Maybe that will make him recognize his addiction and that is always the first step in this kind of things.

I pretty much agree, this is actually a character arc for Squig that I think too many people seem to overlook because they can't see past the porn (for lack of a better term).

I'm looking forward to how it ends.

Also over eating or eating badly is probably the most difficult of all habits to break. You can live without alchohol pot, tobacco, porn, heroin etc. You can't live without eating.

I'd say it's probably harder to completely get rid of subtle ingrained motion patterns, for example the remnants of a limp from a long-healed injury.
