BTW, that is part of the reason I don't read as much as I would like - if I am in a good book, work/food/sleep seems secondary. |
Word that. If I like it, I usually power read it in one day, even if it takes until the wee hours. _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

Finished Leviathan Wakes. Yes, it was amazing! I am now a bit disappointed that I borrowed it from the library instead of buying it. Now the big decision - kindle version or paperback? I generally prefer physical books over kindle BUT there is at least one novella (and I think one short story) that is electronic book _only_. And having multiple formats for one series is not cool.
Another silly Kim Harrison book is next. I do not regret getting any of those books from the library. _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.

I somehow misread "Kim Harrison" as "Sam Kinison." |

I think we might have two copies of Leviathan Wakes around here. Hubby pre-ordered it and forgot that he had and then bought it at the book store. _________________ Eureka00: "Reminding you of your addictions" since 1982. |

I will have to ask him to be sure it's one he has doubles of. He has a couple books he has done this for. I told him to just stop pre-ordering things because we have a bookstore in town and he can pick it up there day of release anyhow. I know we have two copies of Caliban's War by James Corey because that was the most recent. _________________ Eureka00: "Reminding you of your addictions" since 1982. |

Finishing up Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, after I'd started it back in middle school and put it down because it was boring.
I'm about 3/4ths of the way through. People are dying left and right. I'm still waiting for the 'horror' part. Also, everybody seems to have the most feeble consistution with all the fainting and the weeks/months of bed rest. Must be getting a case of the vapors after spewing all those flowery monologues. |

I finally finished the Amber series. I rather liked it, I was a bit discouraged when I heard quite a few people didn't like the ending. _________________ (\__/)
