... oh, now you have me wondering about the furry thing. You mean references to bears, or to body hair and beards, or one's (human) body being furry, or...?
|
Furries are people who dress up like animals as a fetish and then decide to get so creepily weird about it that you are forever scarred and unable to have a positive outlook on humanity. _________________

Oh, I know about various types of furries (and at least back in the day, it could also apply to people who just happened to like stories involving anthropomorphic animals, or who were into the idea of totem animals, or who wrote SF or fantasy involving anthropomorphic animals, etc., rather than being limited to anything sexual or fetish-related). I was curious about what people thought I meant. (I'm into bears, yes, and even am one--in the big ol' hairy human male sense.)
I used to play a few characters on FurryMUCK waaaaaaaay back in the 1990s (it was an online text-based MMO, basically, though social rather than anything combat-focused--imagine a hybrid of the old Scott Adams adventure games, like Zork, combined with Second Life, back before we even had graphic MMOs at all), and several camps often clashed--and/or combined--with each other there.
I have indeed encountered people whose approach to furry things troubles me, and people whose approach doesn't. |

I'm gonna side with the furries on this one, though I'll admit I'm somewhat disturbed by this. Your mileage will vary.

Oh, and this one also worries me:

5. How old were you when you learned to ride a bike?

7. On a scale of one to fluffball, how furry are you?
8. Why?
9. What was / is your nickname, and why?
10. What was your favourite Christmas?
11. Is there a song that makes you dance your ass off, and what is it & why?
12. Are you happy with your current hair do?

5. I was 9, first summer wafter I moved to Pennsylvania.
6. The last T-ball game my son Cameron played the spring before last, spring of 2011.
7. I'd guess I'd be a fluffb, since I'm not "all" fluffy, but according to my wife my back hair has been gaining quite a lot of ground in the last few years. Fortunately, even though I have a lot of hair, most of it is fine, and my arms have mostly blonde hair (thanks to my mom for having blonde hair and blue eyes)
8. Body waxing sucks.
9. We'll go with "I don't have one", although at my last job it was "Mouth" because I talk a lot.
10. Christmass 1995. I spent most of my school holiday at my grandparents house in Virginia, away from my parents, and playing Chrono Trigger.
11. Anything with a good up tempo beat, basically anything ska or ska like. right now it's this song. And yes, I dance just like that, everyone should! I mean, look at that guy, he's just into the music. I don't care what you're dancing to, but if you are, put some FEELIN' into it.
12. No, but I'm not entirely unhappy with it either. I'm lazy when it comes to my hair, so I'll probably let it grow almost another inch or so before I get ambitious enough to spend the half hour it takes to cut it myself, with clippers, the same way I've been doing it for over fifteen years now (FUCK! Was high school really that long ago?). _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

5. How old were you when you learned to ride a bike?
Geez - That's hard to remember. I was 6? maybe 7?
6. What was the last sporting event you went to?
The Redskins-Bengals game on Sunday.
7. On a scale of one to fluffball, how furry are you?
I'm a pretty hairy dude, not counting my head. Not quite bear status - I don't have hairy shoulders or anything. I am, however, not A furry.
8. Why?
Genetics?
9. What was / is your nickname, and why?
Jinx - My last name is Jenkins, and when I joined the Army, everybody started calling me that. After so many years, I kept it. I met my (current) wife in the Army, so even she calls me that. Until we migrated email systems about 3 - 4 years ago, people at my company could type "Jinx" in the address of an email, and it would come to me.
10. What was your favourite Christmas?
I don't have one.
11. Is there a song that makes you dance your ass off, and what is it & why?
Head like a hole, by NIN. It just speaks to me, I guess.
12. Are you happy with your current hair do?

I'm still not very good...
6. What was the last sporting event you went to?
Baseball game. Colorado Springs Sky Sox, local team.
7. On a scale of one to fluffball, how furry are you?
Fuzzy. I have alot of peach fuzz
8. Why?
The gods made me that way to stay warm/get goosebumps when in danger?
9. What was / is your nickname, and why?
Halfpint (It's obviously like calling a tall guy tiny...)
10. What was your favourite Christmas?
I was a kid, my immediate family was all there, we got a to-bogon (sp) from my grandmother and immediately took it out to play with.
11. Is there a song that makes you dance your ass off, and what is it & why?
Most Adele. Lady Gaga. Britney. GIRLIE MUSIC <.< >.> I have no clue as to why... Genes?
12. Are you happy with your current hair do?
I'm in between hair cuts... Its not quite as long as I would like at this point. |

I actually just overlooked it.
I am happy with my current do. It's buzzcut down to about 1/8" all over.
I was really happy with my shaved dome while in Iraq. Mz. Love didn't like the cueball look, though, so I just keep it really short. _________________ The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

1. Love me some home made spaghetti and meat sauce.
2. Some college. Community kind.
3. Hand, but only if it's the left, which I never use for anything.
4. Best: not a singular gift, but a single friend who constantly gives me excellent books, movies, cds, and video games. Worst: a puzzle.
5. 5?
6. U of U at USU hokey game in 2010? I think...
7. Yeti.
8. Genetics covered me in body hair, that's why I'm a yeti.
9. Don't really have an actual "nickname".
10. The one I actually stopped celebrating it.
11. Tequila...the drink. I dance to anything when I'm drunk.
12. Happy? No. Content? Yeah...it's aight. _________________ Who wants flowers when you're dead? Nobody. |

FTFY
Um, I never counted. If we've got less than a full pack when we're at the store, we buy another. _________________ The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference.

I am with Mouse on this one.
Though if I'm going to have guests over, I'll pick up extra just in case. |

2 or 3, but every now and then the last rolls will be on the dispenser. Also, we always keep wipes in the house as well, so there's always a back up. _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

I buy the _huge_ packs of toilet paper (what, 36 rolls or something like that). It is odd but inside the big pack are smaller packs so you always have a set of 4 or 6 rolls wrapped up ready to carry into a bathroom. As soon as we crack that last pack, we pick up another haul of toilet paper. Being out of toilet paper is _not_ an option. _________________ Before God created Las he pondered on all the aspects a woman might have, he considered which ones would look good super-inflated and which ones to leave alone.
