Indeed, Romney is white. How do you think racism works? |
Racism doesn't work, Him. It never works.

I think the takeaway message is that it doesn't work the way you think it works. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. I’ll do anything to protect them from hurt, the human race is what I serve." - Baba Brinkman |

Appropriation of imagery in identical forms between whites and minority races can be racism for the minority races where it is not racism for the whites, but that is because in many effective terminological forms studying racism as a cultural phenomenon, racism is defined as a system applied against minority races in a myriad of (valid) forms.
I am not sure if this particular set of joker-ifications counts categorically. |

Actually, I don't remember how he said it, but I remember him saying something along those lines to him at some point. _________________

Hey, they actually caught and arrested someone for trying to vote twice! Granted, it was a Republican, but... _________________ “Yields falsehood when preceded by its quotation”

THAT was the some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen.
I gotta wonder, though, just how long all those dollar bills are gonna retain any value. Here in not too long they'll be so empty we could use them as a means for powered flight. _________________ The question of our day. |

Are you one of those people that thinks the US is going to collapse any second now unless we become devotees of Ayn Rand? _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. Not fanatically, no. Especially since I've never read her work. I DO think that asking 'what's in it for me' is a reasonable and/or acceptable question to ask when going through life, but I won't look down on people who don't; it's your right to live however you want. _________________ The question of our day. |

Would you consider 'a good feeling knowing I've done something right and/or helped another human being' be an acceptable answer to you or is it all MONEY MONEY MON-AY? _________________ attitude of a street punk, only cutting selected words out of context to get onself excuse to let one's dirty mouth loose |

Well technically getting that "good feeling" from helping someone could be seen as the benefit that you are getting from a mutual deal. As such, your quality of life increases (because now you feel good), and so does the quality of life of whoever you helped.
In an interview, Ayn Rand said that she wasn't against giving your life so that your spouse might survive, but was against giving your life so that your neighbor's spouse survives while their own spouse does nothing. Sounds like decent-ish common sense, look out for your own before going and sacrificing yourself first.
I have no problem with doing volunteer work, but I like MONEY MONEY MON-AY too.
Although I also don't believe the US is on the verge of collapse, at least any time soon. Maybe in a century if they don't sort out some of their issues, many of which aren't really economics-related.
Although this may be the alcohol talking, so feel free to disregard the above. _________________ Clinging to the status quo

I'd say we're closer to a moral collapse than an economic one. _________________
