But Seymour is the Fun Police...

when he's not tanked up on Cupid's Love Poison

Much more importantly, has she such a low opinion of the devil girl, that she can't even fend off Seymour without Glossy's help? What kind of conflicting message is that?

1. She's aggressive.
2. It's her way of drawing attention to issues that would otherwise passed by unnoticed and unquestioned

If it was me passing by I would at least stop to see exactly what Seymour is doing, given Seymour past history.

Glossy, being a bit more proactive than me, stops to ask if everything is all right. It is a good thing to do and as long as she doesn't stop the boogie for too long it shouldn't be a problem.

Boogieing is important. Smile

We could just stop over-analysing every strip Glossy appears in, but where's the fun in that?

Stop overanalyzing her? Never. People are too charged abut her.

One side will see everything that she does as offensive to them, even if its just walking in front of someone by accident. Others will defend her to the end no matter what she does, even if it's killing a character in the name of defeating the Patriarchy. And the rest of us fall somewhere in between.

I find her stopping to make sure that Seymour isn't bothering a devil girl alright, but that Jizzus statement makes me feel a bit of offense, I realize that seymour is known to go overboard with his preaching, but he has a right to share his beliefs. Even if without Cupid effect he's horrible at it.

It's not offense, it's bossing. She just could not accept that her majesty stopped for no reason, in vain. She just must have last word.

She started to protect what she saw victimized, then she drifted to seen herself the only true prophet, now she started drifting to openly bullying.
Hopefully she would question her behavior before she falls into being "Seymour with balls"

wimmins too.
equal rights - equal expectations.

-------

Twice so for she acted cruelly stupid.
It was just like coming in front of halted alcoholic, shake whiskey bottle before his face and reading him notation "you should not drink this s**t any more!"
Best thing to warrant he would only think of "white ape" ever since and eventually would break loose to drinking again.

Seymour was just dancing and thinking of God as a general unconditional love. Glossy forced him to think about certain personification and of all the rituals, duties and all other behavior patterns for which Seymour is that annoying and pitiful. Just as he were getting better guy, she gave him perfectly-aimed trip-up. I don't think it was intentional, just very thoughtless and careless.

that's a pretty strange and weird bizarro Sinfest you're reading there but how about going back to the comic that was posted in this thread

well, yes, he did not start "jesussing" in this comic, just did not had time.
But he started in the next, immediately as Glossy went to her deals.
Just a coincidence of course.

Well, maybe its like "don't think of a squirrel" you start thinking of a squirrel. For all we know maybe after Glossy said that he wen't "Oh yeah, I need to witness to her too, now that I made her happy"

That and plus additionally for Seymour jesusing is just like drinking for an alcoholic. It made a perfect combo and derailed him from dance floor

Cool. She's got the right to call him out for "Jizzusing" too.

You don't get to preach to random people and expect immunity when someone preaches something else to you.
