Went to the Vancouver showing of Cirque du Soleil's Amaluna. Totally memorizing, truly an outstanding show.

I have all four of my wisdom teeth.

Because I'm so wise, see.

No, but really, I still have all four in my gargantuan mouth with room to spare.

my hygenist kept insisting that i get mine pulled because if they got cavities "the dentist will have to take them out in pieces". i figured i would wait until they actually got cavities, but then they took some xrays and the teeth were basically sideways, so i figures what the hell. didn't really have any issues with having them pulled (they gave me some stuff where you aren't technically out because there is no anesthesiologist, but you are totally unaware of what is going on).

now, however, i am having issues because the enamel of the molars that were up against the wisdom teeth is thin, which apparently was ok when the wisdom teeth were there as they protected them, but now i am having to brush with special toothpaste and use the ultra-healthy mouthwash, and i'm thinking i should have just let the damn things be.

oh, and i still have one wisdom tooth (i only let them pull the top ones, and one of the bottom ones never came in) - no problem with headaches.

Ohh, ohh, I just read an article about this dentist who basically says "prophylactic wisdom teeth removal is a scam":

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/rogue-dentist-30-crusade-against-wisdom-teeth-removal-105243007.html

Basically, there's a reason why many insurance companies no longer cover the procedure unless there is an actual issue. It's the modern version of last century's unnecessary tonsillectomies.

I just raped my finals and am now sitting down to a bottle or six of Jubelale before I embark on damn-near-a-month of relaxation and video games.

My life, surely, will have its ups and downs, but for the next month my vaccinations are up-to-fucking-date.

Ya know, the Grammy's fail, A LOT, but then I read something like this:

Quote:
It's a strong showing for the Black Keys, who released their seventh album, El Camino, last December. The duo's LP is up for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album, while their song "Lonely Boy" is nominated for Record of the Year, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. Auerbach is also nominated for non-classical Producer of the Year for his work on El Camino and albums by Dr. John and Hacienda.

I'm a married man now.

Feels good.

Once I get the good pics back I'll post them. Here's a poor quality close up that looks like I have a lazy eye.

Here's a better one:

My eye was lazing off to the side in the first one.

Thank you very much!

That photo looks like it was snapped immediately after something quite cheeky was said. You've got a Ron Burgundy-esque face that seems to be saying "Oh yeah. You KNOW what I mean."

Congrats to both of you, you both look so ridiculously happy, its inspirational.

we went to this little "love resort" in the Poconos mountains.

The kind with heart shaped jacuzzies and beds. We did get an upgraded room that had a private pool and sauna inside it.

Had to come back early though to finish my lab in class (we missed a day because of the hurricane earlier this year) unfortunately.
