Merry Christmas!
Ours was mainly for the kids, which I appreciate...kinda. I was expecting more than a fluffy robe. I did manage to give some things to the adults.
Then we just had a cocktail food lunch, where I pigged out on tamales.
This also marks the first time when the family wasn't complete; my oldest sis stayed up in Austin. To me, it felt that we were only going through the motions and not doing anything.
Glad to know some of your Christmases were alright. I can't wait for New Years. _________________ WARNING: Microwave musclebear detection devices in use on these premises!

Did not receive any but got to play with some Lego last night.
And it was glorious.
Did get a sweet ass cutting board though. And Futurama season 7 which I didn't know existed. |

this year's xmas was actually pretty good for having no family or boyfriend around (he went to NYC). i worked xmas eve, got off at 0815, baked a cottage cheese pie, went to my friend's mom's house and ate brunch there and opened presents with them (i actually got three...her mom wrapped two for me and her brother gave me two awesome mythic rare planeswalker cards), then i played mtg with her brother and then left at 4...i was scheduled to work at 7 but ended up getting canceled so then i slept and then went back over and played more mtg and watched jeopardy episodes.
ahhh. _________________

Sporko: I've never heard of cottage cheese pie before, but it sounds like something I would very seriously approve of. Also having awesome friends take you in over the holidays is fantastic, one of my friends invited me to Thanksgiving with her family this year and it was a blast. _________________ Samsally the GrayAce |

i had to jerryrig something in the AM because the stores were all closed, but it's basically cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, milk/cream, and nutmeg in a graham cracker crust, baked for 50-60 minutes at 350*. it was really sweet but pretty yum _________________

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Sawyer got a bunch of toys in his stocking and I went to see Les Miserables on Christmas day. _________________ I'm doing the twitter thing; you should stalk/follow me: http://twitter.com/sillygurlroo |
