The scary thing is that -20/-30 is below zero regardless of which scale you use _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

Here in winter it's only 9 celsius at worst. But we have, like, 40 in summer, so equivalent exchange I guess. |

fuck your warm weather
around here cold means when you step outside it hurts to breathe and you have to wear two layers of insulated pants or your legs fall off and exposing any skin even for a just a few seconds leaves it aching numb

nah, below zero Fahrenheit isn't particularly cold, and below zero Celsius is still t-shirt weather
-20/-30 is a bit chilly though, yea
-40 or below is what "cold" really means
also anything above 75F/25C is blistering hot and I have no idea how anyone tolerates it
but when it gets up to 9 Celsius it's time to start laying out in a hammock in the sun
it's cozy
I've made this post before, haven't I...
brb I have to go thaw my pipes

DO NOT MOCK US WHEN WE ARE COLD DO WE NOT ALSO SHIVER?
seriously, it was like 54 deg F when i went home last night, it was _cold_. and tonight i will be swimming in the outdoor pool you have no idea what suffering is.
and tat is in san diego? why did i think he was in LA?
......and does that mean that thy is also in san diego? now _there's_ a though to send a shiver down your spine!
but seriously, it is cold here. i can't even wear shorts these days.
i may have to join the crowd and buy ugg boots so i can be warm enough to wear shorts. _________________ aka: neverscared!

we also have this thing where we shape a hot-tub type thing out of snow
it's pretty nifty, kind of a cold-tub
jumping in a snowbank after spending some time in an actual hot-tub is nice too
of course, we only do these things when it's warm out _________________ butts |

No, I spend most of my time huddled up in a tiny room with a blanket and a heat source.
...uh.... I guess eskimos do that too, huh... hm...
.... maybe?
I'm mostly surrounded by ski bums, though. _________________ butts |

It's nice, really. It makes you treasure whatever even remotely cool thing you get your hands on.
And the beach.. Ah sweetness. |

The coldest temperature I've ever experienced was -50ish. Even in a city that was used to temps of -40, the news still did silly things like putting a water bottle on the sidewalk and going to commercial break, then showing how much it had frozen when they came back.
I remember when the chinook winds would blow in, and a -30C day would become a -10C day, and people would start stripping off their (outermost) jackets... funny how quickly I acclimated to warmer weather, now I grumble about +30F. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth.
