you forget that rap and country aren't real music. |
Rock music is bourne out of country, jazz, folk, R&B and jump blues and gospel music. You woldn't have "rock" of any kind without country music, and many punk and alternative performers have elements of country music in their work.
Rap is hundreds of years old and was an element of early blues music, developing into a genre of its own starting in the 70's when record producers started to take notice of streetcorner kids doing it for fun.
why do you always have to be wrong, Snors? Why? what's wrong with you? |
nah son they just talking on stuff and not making music. the only real music is death metal!
for real I was joking with that. I don't actually listen to much music aside from hiphop because I'm literally too busy with listening to all the hiphop I haven't heard yet. I have spent the entire fucking weekend listening to hiphop instead of going out and scoring girls. And I don't even feel bad because it was time well spent. I might even start a fucking blog. _________________

One of my favorite paintings, not just by Beksinski but overall.
Reminds me of the psalm, "..Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...".
Beksinki's art is fascinating, although I'd say, not for the light of heart. _________________ Ask not what you can do for your country, ask what your country did to you |

not all of it. Mostly the overproduced "trying to be rock and pop too" stuff. |
Like all music, stay away from the mainstream and you can find some gems.
"I like country, as long as it's not twangy." is like saying "I like fish, but I don't want it to taste fishy." _________________ I have a face, with a mustache.

I take a look at my life and realize there's nothing left
Cause I've been blasting and laughing so long
Even my mama thinks that my mind is gone
But I ain't never crossed a man that didn't deserve it
Me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you're talking and where you're walking
or you and your homies might be lined in chalk" _________________
