The resemblance is uncanny.

PETA is nothing but a bunch of overly idealistic, unrealistic idiots.

FUCK 'EM.

If PETA's worst problem was being 'overly idealistic' I would have less of a problem with them.

Word. I see PETA like this:

How far you should take things [ ------- ]

How far PETA goes with whatever issue it is addressing

[ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ]

Saying they go overboard is a gross understatement.

I guess animal protection is one thing, but I concur petaphiles go far enough in dishing violence to defeat the purpose.

Don't like animal research? Better firebomb the research facility.

Seriously, the ALF is fucking nuts.

All of those things are not what I would call "overly idealistic".

There are a lot of words for it, but those don't fit for me.

But like, don't get me wrong, we all agree that PETA is the worst.

LinkedIn's clever marketing: You're special like 10 million others

my news feed is littered with statements of being special and i don't think i have the heart to tell them all otherwise.

Iran: so far away from credible you might suspect they were secretly a flock of sea gulls instead of people.
For a more thorough take-down of the "jet" before this latest photochop appeared, check this out. Some actual aviation engineers, technicians, and pilots show up in the comments to pick every last nit to death, too.

The worst part is that, in all likelihood, heads are going to roll for this. Literately.

Holy... crap... it looks like the police (well, San Bernadino sheriff's department) burned Chris Dorner alive. They chased him to a cabin, and then set it on fire. Recorded audio confirms they stopped firefighting orces from putting out the fire until the cabin was razed to the ground.

Edit: major news organizations are going with variations of "the cabin caught fire" or "flames were seen" without mentioning what started the blaze. There are a few bits of audio that are going around. First, from CBS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNk-bV40XMc

Second, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwKlZWEMMHQ

There's also a longer one I haven't gotten a chance to listen to, yet. Regardless... there's enough to strongly suggest, at least, that "burn him out" was the desired strategy. Conspiracy theorists are going to have even more of a field day with this than they already were with the drone-based manhunt, the $1,000,000 reward, and the two random asian women lapd gunned down, rather than trying to arrest.
