Wait, fire is lamer than heart because it's a magical, concealable, never-ending flame thrower? You and I have different definitions of lame, my friend. Very different.

Nope, fire is lamer than heart because with fire you just have the flamethrower. With heart you can command a small army of monkeys WHILE having a flamethrower equipped.

Yeah, they went into that in the show. Zombie-like armies are pretty handy.
Plus everyone would think you're not an asshole cuz your power is 'heart' so you could probably trick 'em for a while.

That's because of the politically over correct nature of the show. He was the only white male among the supposed good guys so of course he had to be wrong about everything.

Works the same with caucasians and non-caucasians.
The fact that white males dominate almost everything in the USA (even moreso back when Captain Planet was created; in any examination of any piece of pop culture, the prevailing attitudes of its era are crucial) makes white males almost immune to stereotype. IMHO.
I can say that because, again, I'm a white male.
IIRC every Planeteer was stereotyped per nationality but that's another story. |
