Is anyone else watching this popularity show? I haven't seen all the films, but there are a few that I was quite fond of. Life of Pi, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Moonrise Kingdom, The Avengers... It's been a good year. And I was super excited by Paperman's win in the Animated Short category! Maybe they'll keep producing theatrical shorts. _________________ Live to laugh. |

Ha ha, so true. I have no opinion there, my personal favorite from the year wasn't even nominated. _________________ Live to laugh. |

I still need to see that one, Black Kitty. I did love Wreck-It Ralph but I'm sooooo happy Brave won.
Brave was fantastic and I will fight whoever says otherwise. _________________ Samsally the GrayAce |

OH MY GOD, the cast of Les Miserables just covered me in chills.
Sally, I did love Brave for so many reasons! I just wish they had let Brenda Chapman finish the project. It was torn too many directions, so it couldn't really wrap up as neatly as other Pixar films have. Just too many cooks in the kitchen. :/
Wreck-It Ralph was great too, but felt a bit trite in a few different parts. Is trite the right word? Hm. I dunno, I just wasn't on board for it as I was for some other movies this year. Still great, though. _________________ Live to laugh. |

That girl from the poster of Les Misérables should win something. I didn't actually see the movie but in the posters she has really fucking stunning eyes. Is that a category? Most fucking stunning eyes in promotional material. _________________ Formerly Green_Finn

FACEBOOK STATUS DUMP:
Kristin Lawrence, "Whether I win or lose, it's just an honor that Meryl Streep wasn't nominated."
I love to see Channing Tatum dance, but I generally prefer it with a bit less clothes.
That was an excellent song. I don't know what Captain Kirk is talking about. ("We saw your boobs!")
Harry Potter is delightful to watch dance.
I only saw Paperman, but j remember the feeling of enchantment during it. Hooray!
Reese will always be stunning.
I've never heard of Beasts of the Southern Wild, but dear lord I want to see it now!
That is too much sexy on one stage. #Avengers
Jaws theme to kick people off stage? .... BRILLIANT.
WANT Jennifer's red dress! .. And the man candy on her arm.
I tuned out when the Bond tribute began.
Zero Dark Thiry - "The film was a triumph.. it was also an example of how women never ever let anything go."
"It's Sunday and everybody's dressed up.. it's like church, except more people are praying."
I'm waiting for Travolta's awkward Jodi Foster speech in the middle of his award introduction.
Chicago, encore!!!!!
I'm double-fisting with Facebook and Twitter tonight. ... BRB
Les Mis LOVE. ... That is all. Viva la revolution!
Ted was inspiring to me.
Best ode to the Sound of Music EVER.
The Master? .. I missed an Amy Adams film? *le gasp!*
[preemptive post] And the Oscar goes to...... Anne Hathaway!
Anne Hathaway: Thank you for nominating me with every notable actress aside from Meryl Streep #Oscars
My 17 year old self hates all of the kids on stage right now.
Sandra Bullock: Forever and always my Hollywood Girl Crush #1.
.
.
.
And that was my first post in probably like 4 or 5 months. lol |
