When it was her turn in the post-Oscars press room, some photographers called out "don't trip!" and she flipped them the bird - and immediately realized what she had done to the sound of many shutters going off. A middle finger may never have been more hilariously adorable. |
Jesus Christ, that is exactly something I would do (It's been tested, when some ass yelled at me that girls don't like Batman and I should give him the tickets I just won.)

I didn't like Brave. Sue me. The theme of the movie is supposed to be girl-power and choosing your own path, right? Then Merida spends the whole movie following Wisps through the forest and trying to solve her problems with magic, never really making choices/decisions on her own initiative. This seems...wrong to me. I thought Wreck-It Ralph had a much better theme and message that they followed through on much more coherently. Brave only gets points from me for being slightly better animated (The work they must have done on Merida's hair boggles my mind).
Perhaps I just don't get it. I'll watch Brave again soon. Maybe. Eh. Probably not. It's the first Pixar movie I've ever seen that I wasn't thrilled with although I've never seen any of the Cars movies either. _________________ "Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life."

| I liked Wreck It Ralph more than Brave, and despite that, if it had to be one film, it would have to be Brave. I'm not disappointed at all though. Brave had better storytelling, and although Wreck It Ralph had surprisingly high emotional depth, Brave still comes on top for that too. |
