Since when is this a thing? Wish every day could be women's days...

Heck, I guess treat it like Valentine's Day? Valentine's Day isn't the only day you love someone, or the only day you show them that you love them. But it's a great way to remember that your love is worth showing.

Women's day shouldn't be the only day to address women's issues, but a reminder that they are worth addressing every day.

I've literally only heard about IWD from the intertubes, but none the less. Yay women. I'd call out my favorite Sinfester women but I'd just be naming them all.

I've been vaguely aware of IWD, in the same way as I've been aware of Secretary's Day, National Doughnut Day, Confederate Memorial Day, Pi Day, and Talk Like a Pirate Day. By which I mean, I've never known anyone to be more involved in it than, "oh, hey, it's _____ Day. Wonder if I can get free food somewhere."

I'm not saying this is a good thing. Just... anecdotal evidence suggests it does not yet have broad recognition around here.
