As far as I remember, last time they met, Seymour drove her back to Hell. Don't think he could be so easily forgiven.

... actually, no, the last time they met was actually long after that incident.

you know? the strip where he was bomfed? he sprayed her with holy water because for some reason he thought that would be a good way to get back at blue for bomfing his bible?

as for whether or not she'd forgive him, i personally think she would. if only because it'd be a sign of how much she's improved since she first began her transition from evil to good. either that or there wouldn't be any sort of resolution on the matter, like. no indications that they have anything against each other anymore or anything but no indications that they forgive each other, either...

Seriously, why would she be interested in a commission except to be nice? The only other reason to do it would be for money and she doesn't seem to need money any more than anyone else in the strip does.

She's apparently quite content to just live under a tree...

You just made me realize something. Very few people in this comic seem to have jobs. How did Slick afford his own house? How does the Sisterhood get money for their gadgets and vehicles? Does Tess do work for someone else?

Well, it's definitely a lot nicer than the lake of fire she used to live in. lol

Successful acting career. He doesn't actually talk about it, so others could be doing the same. The real mystery is Lil'E. We know as a fact that he worked at a fast food joint. How can he pay the taxes for that huge house?

If he's feigning repulsion, he wouldn't ask about commissions.

Nah, it's a little of both. Hence the punchline actually being a punchline.

*shrug* Alright. I don't see repulsion - feigned or otherwise - but okay.

The fact that no one except Li'l E (who used to occasionally hold down fast food jobs) ever seems to need to work to have money (except for that one time when Squig somehow had less than nothing in his bank account and thus had to go "on the run" and that was just a plot device anyway) has been raised before. It's best just to make up one's own set of explanations and not be concerned over it. Repeat to yourself "It's just a strip, I should really just relax." Wink

As for the Sisterhood, well, remember that Xanthe lives in a multi-story secret lair OSLT. There's a whole other thing going on with the Sisterhood...and we might as well just make up our own explanations for that, too.

On another note, if in Sinfest City one can simply walk into a house and claim it without being required to pay rent and the like (it's as good an explanation as any for how Slick, 'Nique, Crim, Squig, Seymour, and Li'l E all have their own houses), Fuchsia could just find an empty house and claim it for herself.

During the brief interval when Blue was searching for Fuchsia (considering that she's never anywhere except under that damned tree any more, it shouldn't be very hard to find her), I'd hoped that Blue would visit the Devil Neighborhood where (one could theorize) she and Fuchsia lived before getting jobs at the devil club and from there with The Devil, but such never came to pass.

Broke into the old apartment...This is where we used to live...Why did they plaster over the hole I burned through the door...
