I think she's just a tad irked that Slick's making such a big deal about what is, after all, a rather minor moment.

Remember, Nana is apparently her grandmother, or at least mentor figure. She can get cookies any time she wants.

That is almost certainly it. This arc pokes fun at people who want heaps of praise for doing what should be commonly decent things, and folks who go around shouting about their being supportive to be the center of attention. Usually when people talk about this phenomenon, they talk about 'ally points' and cookies.

I think Slick wanting to be seen as an ally is a good sign, though.

He's wanted her approval for a while now... it's adorable, really. In a pathetic kind of way.

So it seems that whilst waiting away the many months for my first profile to be activated, I, in my frustration, created a second, which has also been activated.

And I think I like this one more. Before, you knew me as Amitabha. Now I reintroduce myself as Istancow!

As for the comic?

Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. MOAR TAT, MOAR!

Also, I totally need to learn to cook justice flavoured cookies. So I can dress up in tights and a cape, and swoop from the shadows, land in front of random people, throw cookies at them, exclaim "JUSTICE!" and dash away into the sunset.

I was going to make a joke how the cookie has a tracer on it, but I am overcome by these feels I get thinking of Xanthe and Slick.

I'm pretty sure Heretical Rants called this one. Off by a day, but still - consider it called.
