Somehow the Devil holding the My Little Pony at the end somehow adds to the comic.

Been playing too much Bioshock Infinite. I'm half expecting for the Sisterhood to finally get some power over the Devil then turn into an oppressive group just like Devil Corp.

Won't happen of course, too much author tract going on.

Its a theory, but if you notice the reflection in Xanthe's glasses it makes a certain amount of sense. He's facing away, with no horns.

His ears are still pointed in the reflections, not rounded; it's still Slick's bomf-induced alter ego.

Truly, I never understood that dissociation.
Yeah, but when he's reflected in her glasses there are no horns so maybe she sees him as Slick.

That couldn't possibly be because you believe that feminists want a reality where men are subjugated, right?

i kinda figured that slick facing away in the reflection meant that he was looking at her but then turned away as if nothing happened.

though as for why its REAL slick instead of sleaze in the reflection, i was kind of assuming that it meant that maybe when sleaze is in control only we as the audience could see.

i mean since no one really acknowledges that sometimes slick is a devil person at total random unless they're looking at his devilized reflection it just sort of made sense to me... but your theory is as good as mine. it sounds pretty valid as well.

Cool thing is I think that this is a cool subliminal point from Tat. The reflection always shows the opposite. So, because evil Slick is out there, you see good Slick looking away. I think the idea is that Slick is unknowingly being evil by looking the opposite way, or by playing ignorant and not noticing the injustice.

At least, that is what I think. He COULD have just turned around.

Heh I thought it was more of call to the classic "mirror image" image

That of the protagonist facing away from a mirror with the reflection also facing away as if to symbolize two paths.

AN interesting thing I noticed is that we see Sleaze staring at Xanthe, but the reflection in Xanthe's shades is Slick.

To me this is symbolic. It's not Slick that's staring at her with disdain, but it's Slick that she is seeing.

This is going to cause some misunderstandings in the future for sure. After all, we know that Sleaze is capable of leaving the mirror and causing havoc on his own while Slick is asleep.

whoa - had to look twice to see the faces. but they look to me more like demonic beings, ready to pull her down, than like the damned that she is about to fall among.

Awful lot of facial expressions for Xanthe.

Don't really see her scared too often.

Getting dropped into a Hellmouth will do that to a person.
