Not quite. While the cross is rare in early christian art, it is not non-existent, and cross-like figures of the Chi Rho and the derivative forms of the Staurogram and IX Monogram did receive use. In fact, Constantine's vision was described as a cross. While not technically crosses, all three symbols were understood historically to reference the crucifixion.
The Icthys was another common symbol, but neither was it the only symbol used in the early church. The dove and the shepherd were also exceedingly common.

I'm so rich, I can afford to write in $0.10 notebooks! All the time! Sometimes I even use $0.25 notebooks! _________________ butts |

I use $.30 notebooks in the lab... because if one gets contaminated or catches fire I can get another.
Oh yeah. That's how I roll. $.30 ain't no thing. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth. I’ll do anything to protect them from hurt, the human race is what I serve." - Baba Brinkman |

I found $0.80 in the pocket of a pair of pants I pulled out of the laundry basket half an hour ago.
It increased my current liquid assets, including what's in my bank account, by exactly 52% . . .
Imma gonna go cry myself to sleep now _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

I buy super discount food. 24 packs of ramen for 2 bucks! I save it for when I'm having a crap day or if food money runs low. I also follow food bank rules for when food is edible (Except for dairy.). Makes the budget stretch.
I take out my lack of food funds on the internet by talking about food. I usually spend half a year talking about what I'm making for my birthday, and then what I'm making for Halloween. _________________ ::lesser crisis mode::

Bow down, peasants! I put two eggs in my ramen (when I'm using it as a substitute meal)! Plus some Mrs. Dash.
Now lay on the dirt so that I can use you as a victory carpet. |

I can beat all that. I used to get cheap chicken nuggets, cook one or two, thn slice it into thin slices. I woud then cook creamy chicken ramen, dump most of the water, and add the flavor packet to make a sauce. The sliced nugget would be fanned out on top.
So fancy.
(I can not eat creamy chicken ramen anymore because I had too long a tie where that was wat I could afford.) _________________ ::lesser crisis mode::

white sauce pizza, olive oil, asdlfhg so good |
White sauce, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts.
Simple. Delicious. My favorite pizza. |
White sauce, crab meat, crushed tomatoes, and old bay.
The Chesapeake.
It's one of the few restaurant pizzas I can eat without becoming violently ill. |

I miss crawfish pizza. Only thing worthwhile about living in Louisiana was being able to get any food you can think of with crawfish thrown in. _________________ ::lesser crisis mode::

Eh? Notebooks are usually ten cents at Giant Evil Corporation if you buy them at the right time of year. _________________ butts |

The university makes them, I think. They're actually exam booklets for writing classes - we call them blue books - but they're cheap, hold about 10-15 pieces of paper, and have a spot for a label on the cover so we can number them to keep data in order. _________________ "Worse comes to worst, my people come first, but my tribe lives on every country on earth.
