As I said (and got jumped for saying) on Facebook, I'm honestly amazed it didn't happen sooner. Lucasarts was once a giant, but has been an empty husk for ages now. _________________ The older I get, the more certain I become of one thing. True and abiding cynicism is simply a form of cowardice. |

Really hoping they'll, if not sell, at least allow other people to use some of their properties.
We could get Doublefine or Telltale games to make another DAY OF THE TENTACLE game! _________________ "No, but evil is still being --Is having reason-- Being reasonable! Mousie understands? To my understanding, Lucasarts will still kinda sorta exist, but it will exist solely to manage licensing their IPs to other developers. So, a new Tentacle game is possible, but still unlikely. _________________ The older I get, the more certain I become of one thing. True and abiding cynicism is simply a form of cowardice. |

Lego City might as well be called Grand Theft Lego, but not in a bad way. Instead of many characters, you're a cop who wears disguises and goes on missions and get different abilities depending on the disguise. BTW, you can only jack cars when you're disguised as a criminal. _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

Hat trick!
Fire Emblem: Awakening is the best game in the series. I like the forging system (Logs, laddles, and tree branches FTW), the whole class/reclassing system pretty fun, and overall it seems like they fixed most of the flaws . . .
Except the story. It's not bad, it's just sort of kinda good, like a 6/10. definitely the weakest feature.
Gameplay wise though, it's a beast.

Finally, another worthy Humble Bundle weekly sale! This one focuses on Blendo games.
Flotilla is a simultaneous turn-based 3D space adventure/fleet combat game. Unfortunately it's the one game in this bundle that is Windows-only and doesn't include a soundtrack album as a bonus.
Atom Zombie Smasher is a lot like those top-down zombie outbreak simulators, except you command military forces to neutralize them and rescue civilians with air strikes, orbital nukes, and mercenary armies.
Air Forte is an educational game that covers geography, math, and and vocabulary.
Thirty Flights of Loving (the sequel to Gravity Bone, which is also included in this deal) is a quick interactive fiction game. You have to pay more than the average price of the bundle (just $3.18 as I type) to unlock it, along with the soundtrack. Unfortunately this one doesn't have a Linux option.
All the games are DRM-free, come with optional Steam keys, and (mostly) cross-platform. Don't forget that Humble Bundles are a convenient way to support Child's Play and the EFF!

It works really well when you have a character getting a new weapon type with a class upgrade or change. I've found that they're not worth replacing, and by the time they finally do break the character will usually have gotten at least C rank. _________________ ...if a single leaf holds the eye, it will be as if the remaining leaves were not there.

URL speaks for itself. |
Damn:
Quote: | Ubisoft's unannounced shooter Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is apparently lying on Ubisoft's servers, available to download to those who have the exploit. |

There's also some evidence that he basically mudied the waters:
I have heard that Microsoft is launching TWO systems: The 'next gen' 720/whatever, and the 360 Mini, which is... sort of like a 360-Roku box. Basically, no hard drive, all games for it are purchsed digitally and stored on its HD (So it requires net connection to make sure you didn't just load a pirated game onto it's hard drive). The 360 mini will be 'always on', the 720./whatever they call it won't.
I suppose we'll find out this may. _________________ "No, but evil is still being --Is having reason-- Being reasonable! Mousie understands? Is always being reason. Is punishing world for not being... Like in head. Is always reason. World should be different, is reason."
