also, how do you guys arrange your binders/boxes of cards? right now i have mine by color then separated into creature & sorcery/enchantment/instants and arranged by mana cost. the artifacts are separate and by mana cost.
is there a better way? a guy last night suggested separating them further by mythic rares/rares/uncommon in a separate binder.
also entering them into an online database/onto an app, but srsly i have so many cards ;_; _________________

commons, other than stuff that gets used is most decks (dark rituals in black decks, etc), in a box, sorted by colour*, and everything else sorted by colour* in binders is my preference, but I don't have 5 binders worth of cards, or I might need to sort them slightly differently for trading purposes.
*I sort land as it's own colour, instead of putting it with colourless stuff, farther sorted by colour it produces. _________________ Don't presume to speak for me, and I will try to show you the same courtesy.

I store my cards in long thin cardboard boxes, they are about 50 cents each, and I get the at collectable card stores, especially baseball card stores seem to have them. _________________ (\__/)

New set spoilers are fun for everyone!*
Here are all of the already spoiled cards to click through.
And here are some honorable mentions that I am snailing over personally!

Yeah, honestly, I haven't played actively since Darksteel, and I gave away all of my cards, but I still loosely pay attention. The past several cycles of standard have looked like tremendous fun, with lots of cards to be excited about. That's impressive work by the game designers, there. _________________ “Yields falsehood when preceded by its quotation”

I played from Ice Age to Exodus, going to tournaments and MFN and so. Left with Masks of Mercadia because no $.
After that I have went in and out. Missed the kamigawa cycle and I feel sorry about it. Looks like a great one.
I had a artifact deck waaaay before it was cool with phyrexian walkers, chimeras and rings of sisay from visions, altar of Dementia and grindstones from Tempest, portcullis, bullwhips and cursed scrolls from stronghold...
Urza saga bring some cool artifacts, but still I was the only one idiot in my town with a pure artifact deck (Urza Tower, mine and powerplant as lands). Years later I came back to the scene and all the kiddies had artifacts decks.
And colored artifacts! In my time, we rode our stegosaurus to the card shop and our artifacts were uncolored and mana expensive! _________________ Be mellow

This game has been a victim of inflation. Old cards aren't as devastating as they used to be. Those that still are have become banned from all tournaments. It's like yu-gi-oh all over again. At least in Yu-Gi-Oh, you aren't mana-screwed when you try to play with a multi-colored elemental fusion deck. Then again, why the hell are you using synchro-fusions in the first place? In the end, It's all as worthless as the cardboard it was printed on. |
