I believe they just have a son. (Unless they hate their daughter and refuse to include her in their family pictures on FB.)

They definitely have a daughter, as they've mentioned her and shown pictures in an LJ I follow. Er, followed? How recent are the family pictures?

The most recent picture was from January of this year.

Why is it that the credit score I look up on the reporting agency's website and the credit score the bank sees from the same reporting agency different? Like 20 points different?

No clue. I noticed that too when I bought my car a year ago. The one I saw on the reporting agency was lower than what the dealership pulled.

The bank is pulling like 20 points lower than the report from the reporting agency. It is really messing with me.

Different places use different credit scores. FICO is a brand name from one specific company, and other credit scoring agencies use different metrics. Your FICO score costs aboutt $20 to see (Though the Walmart credit card offers the ability to see your FICO score for free as a perk.)

I keep track of mine at Credit Karma and Credit Sesame, which use Experian (Or TransUnion, I forget which.) Credit Karma seems to be closer to the actual score that credit card companies use. (Discover card seems to use a different metric than others, though, and is more strict.)

This forum describes the discrepancy, but may make you angry.

Is it still controversial to say that Mother Teresa was a bad person?

Not entirely.

It's mostly a matter of values. She was pretty true to hers, though others have examined them and found them disturbing. Can you fault a Catholic for being, say, insufficiently Buddhist? Might depend on whether you're Catholic or Buddhist.

I have been on Christopher Hitchens kick, and it's critque of Mother Theresa that started the kick.

She might have not been an evil person.. but she was a person, with personal interests and ego. Not as selfless and righteous as advertised. I have fallen for the propaganda of her being a modern day saint.

itchens' view might be too extreme, though I admire his unashamed and eloquent (at times borderline pompous) way of expressing his opinion.

Depends on if you say it to be a "edgy" or if you back it up with evidence.

I only asked because of an idea I had gotten for a painting.

Considering who all else are saints, it doesn't particularly bother me for her to be so far along the path to being named one.

For example, the patron saint of politicians burned six people at the stake for heresy (aka owning books, disagreeing with him,...).

She's in good company.

Wait, Thomas More is a saint?

Anyway yeah Teresa was totally a bad person. Being true to your values isn't admirable if your values suck.

On principle, strong painkillers were not administered even in severe cases. According to Mother Teresa's philosophy, it is 'the most beautiful gift for a person that he can participate in the sufferings of Christ
