binoculars out of toilet paper tubes
telescope out of paper towel tubes
playhouses out of boxes
picture frames out of puzzle pieces
ornaments out of old cds

I could go on and on. Preschool teachers have been doing this crap for awhile.

I turned a box into a makeshift easy-2-throw-away (sort of) kitty litter for when our kitten didn't want to share with the other cat and the pet store was closed.

Really really glad when I could throw that away. xP

A) convert a shitty old broken laptop (one of those stupidly large 17" ones with a frame incapable of supporting the screen, and that's already been partially cannibalized for parts) into an all-in-one desktop that will kind of work for a while I guess.
Not only would I be using garbage for the guts and display of the computer, I'd probably end up using garbage for whatever case I built, too. The s̶k̶y̶ dump is the limit!

Project is a go!

currently looking for junk to convert into a better stand stand than what I'm using at the moment (aka something that will actually hold it up)

will probably also improve the way the screen is attached to the rest of it, someday

and maybe pretty it up a bit

Bunch of junk jeans into a sturdy picnic/outdoors quilt.

Frame from an old folding crib that wasn't safe for babies anymore is just waiting to be made into a pair of matching, low-profile, moveable computer desks/carts.

I'm trying to decide if I actually want to make "plarn" anything that I'd actually use. ("yarn" made from strips of plastic grocery bags, and then crocheted into interesting things.) Planters? Maybe. Maybe some hanging bag-style or upside-down planters for next year. Oh, hey, maybe a crocheted plastic tarp thing to keep weeds down and water in...

a two-dimensional oblong black box
which is actually censoring yet another oblong black box, which is censoring the oblong black box behind that, and so on

Your nose was lost in a horrific pony drawing accident?
